Joseph Hartley-Palmer

Joseph is the founder and owner of Norfolk Rehab Physio. He qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire and began his career at Cambridge University Hospital -Addenbrooke’s. During his time there, he gained extensive experience in all areas before focusing on neurological rehabilitation.

His career has taken him through various settings, from a major trauma centre to small island clinics, where he has worked across multiple clinical areas including intensive care, inpatient wards, outpatient services, and in patients' homes. This diversity of experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in patient care.

Joseph furthered his expertise by completing an MSc in Clinical Research at the University of East Anglia. Additionally, he has undertaken significant continuous professional development, including specialised training in The Bobath approach—a management technique geared towards improving motor function in individuals with neurological conditions.

In his current roles, Joseph provides clinical rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions, he also works as a Lecturer and Researcher, sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of physiotherapists. He is an active member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology, and he is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
